PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Bay Machine and Fabrication was tasked with fabricating 28 custom marine hatch covers. The hatch covers needed to be manufactured in compliance with the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS). In addition to being ABS compliant, the covers needed to be non-skid and labeled clearly.
PROJECT DETAILS
Finish: All surfaces were sandblasted to a SSPC SP-6 surface preparation. Upon completion of preparation, all surfaces were coated with two coats of International Paints Anti-Corrosive 300V Epoxy Paint Primer, broadcast non-skid, followed by a topcoat of International Paints 990HS. Finally, the hatch covers were stenciled with the customer’s specified text.
